Ratatouille

Ratatouille is an animated film that tells the story about a young family of rats. The young rat Remy has dreams of growing up to be a chef in a restaurant, and his family is always putting him down. His brother helps to give Remy the support that he needs. It is a refreshing story that has many interesting characters and plenty of funny antics. This is a family film that anyone can enjoy, and the movie definitely y sets the bar for animated films while providing a great story line and plenty of fun.

The voices in the movie are done by Patton Oswalt, Peter O'Toole, Ian Holm, Janeane Garafalo, Lou Ramono and John Ratsenberger.  During the plot of the film, the family of rats is sent scattering down a river and into a sewer where young Remy gets separated from the rest. He ends up getting to Paris by the underground tunnels and emerges at the Gusteau's Restaurant. It takes a while for Remy to work his way up to being in the kitchen with the chefs, but the delightful rat wins over the chefs and creates a fun and enjoyable film to watch. As the restaurant that was once popular and doing well seems to be needing some help, Remy appears and looks to pursue his dreams of becoming a famous chef. He gets some help along the way by some of the other colorful characters who work in the restaurant and steals the scene with his lovable character.

Between the nature of the characters in Ratatouille and the famous animated food in the kitchen, the movie is a great choice for family viewing and provides plenty of warm and touching moments along with a lot of laughs and fun for everyone to enjoy. If you have seen any animated films and enjoy the characters and animation, you can enjoy the laughs and fun that are in this movie. You can also enjoy it with the whole family, and there is something for anyone to enjoy about Ratatouille.
