Released in 1997, Transformers the movie was created from a toy line made back in the eighties which became a successful cartoon watched by millions of children worldwide. The decision to make it into the groundbreaking movie it became was shared by Michael By who directed the film and John Rogers, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci who wrote the scripts and designed the film. The decision to resurrect this lost passion for Transformers paid off as most children who remembered the original toys and cartoon were now able as adults to watch this grown up reinvention of the original story and recapture the feelings of their youth towards the Transformers.
The story involves a war between the evil Deceptacons and the good and heroic Autobots who are in fact an alien robot race who are in separate factions and are able to transform themselves into machines that humans use on a daily basis. The object of desire for the Deceptacons is known as the All Spark which is something powerful their joined race created many years ago so they could bring life to all of the machinery that man had built, therefore creating an army. The All Spark was never used and it was decided that it would be hidden away to avoid a huge war. The Autobots are the All Spark's protector where as the Deceptacons want it for their evil gains.
With an all star cast which includes; Megan Fox, Shia LeBeouf, Josh Duhamel, Jon Voight, Anthony Anderson, Tyrese Gibson and John Tuturro.
